About Dmitry Murzin’s book “Bengal Water” (Moscow, 2014)
In March, Kemerovo poet Dmitry Murzin’s new collection of poems “Bengal Water” was released. The print run is standard by today’s standards—500 copies. The book was published by the Moscow publishing house “West-Consulting” and includes two introductory articles by Ekaterina Gorbovskaya and Aleksandr Gornon, as well as a couple of complimentary quotes on the back cover—from “Literaturnaya Gazeta” and the journal “Deti Ra.”
The new poetry collection contains ninety poems; more than forty of them are drawn from the author’s earlier books: “The White Body of a Poem” (1997), “Angelofall” (1999), “Native Speaker” (2006), “Clinical Life” (2010).
