Description
Sergey Ilyichev Il'yich was born in 1951 in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Culture (now MGUKI). He currently lives in Belarus. His first novella, "Being at Peace with Conscience," he wrote in 2002. In 2011 he was admitted to the Union of Writers of Russia, and in 2012 his book "What the Parrot Told" received an international literary award named after P. P. Ershov for a work for children and youth, in the nomination "Best Fairy Tale." At the publishing house "Prospekt" (Moscow), his books are also printed: "Bible Stories for Children," "Beso gons," "Angels of the Church," "Inextinguishables," "The Return of the Conek-Gorbunok," "Dances with the Devil," and "At a Crossroads of Vice." Currently, "Prospekt" has published his books from the series: "The Bible. 100 and 1 Quote," "Jesus Christ. 100 and 1 Quote," and "Omar Khayyam. 100 and 1 Quote," as well as the collection "By the Call of the Magi." As the author himself says, he does not write church literature.
