The Towers of the German Castle

In the autumn of 1944, the Red Army is already fighting in Romania. A group of SMERSH under the command of Major Vadim Zlobin receives an assignment to capture an important German engineer. It’s known that he’s hiding in an ancient castle. But the major’s plan fails: the engineer is killed in a shootout, and the group barely avoids being surrounded. Still, not everything is lost. If they can’t take the engineer himself, they need to find his last developments. Zlobin rushes to establish relations with the castle’s inhabitants and, through them, learn about the German hiding place. At the last moment, he suddenly realizes that he and his entire group have ended up in a cleverly set trap…
