A brilliant scientist, Igor, took part in secret government developments—electronics, biological and chemical weapons, powerful lasers, and more. He never stayed anywhere for long due to his difficult nature and wild ideas. Eventually, they moved him into a huge apartment-laboratory on the outskirts of Moscow and assigned him to the supervision of Nikolay, the state curator of dangerous science. For protection, Nikolay put Boris, a former gangster, and his girlfriend Larisa to handle household duties. So on a small area, a gangster, a blonde girl, and a scientist constantly hang out—constantly clashing over the scientist’s insane experiments and a love triangle between the heroes.
