“The Ballad of a Broken Nose” is the story of a 13-year-old teenager named Bart. He takes up boxing because that’s what his mother wants. “You’ll grow up and thank me for it,” she often repeats. But in truth, Bart loves music and, while nobody is listening, he sings opera arias. His girlfriend Ada decides that, no matter what, she will make Bart famous and ensure he performs at the school celebration. That’s where real difficulties begin. This book has a lot of laughter and tears, boxing and music, genuine friendship and school romance. The novel has been published in 14 countries, including the US by Simon & Schuster. The Norwegian studio Moskus Film has acquired the rights to its adaptation.
