This is a novella about the fact that anything is possible in life. Including a New Year miracle. Already not-so-young lonely woman who has devoted herself to work, moves—apparently—to spend her remaining days in the village, in the house of her childhood. But that’s where everything begins. She has already come to terms with her lonely situation and even finds a kind of pleasure in it. New Year is approaching. She wants to meet it in proud solitude—she’s tired of the pity of acquaintances and loved ones. She thinks to herself about what love and happiness are. She comforts herself with the idea that her loneliness has its own charm.
But, as the saying goes, the ways of the Lord are inscrutable. Everything goes completely differently. She’s never had such a New Year before. And what does the arrival of a black goth and the appearance of a strange admirer from the distant past promise her? This is a story based on real events. It will make everyone believe that miracles in life are possible.
