Description
A detective story about a difficult moral choice: to take revenge for humiliation and the ridiculous death of a stranger, or to stay in the shadows and quietly watch who the killer comes for next… Once you become an accomplice to someone else’s fate, you involuntarily start living not your own life. And not always it is a calm one… A talented IT specialist, Mark Ozerov, checks companies’ defense systems against hacker attacks. After completing one of the assignments, he receives an email asking for help investigating the suicide of a certain Marina Zaytseva. Supposedly, very valuable information was passed from her account to competitors, after which the girl was fired, fell into depression, and as a result took her own life. Mark agrees to help.
During the investigation, he gets the feeling that some of the tragic events from Marina’s last days were arranged on purpose. At the same time, Mark realizes he is being pulled into someone else’s dirty business and decides to step out of it—he thinks, forever. But this story is only just beginning. A few days later, a killer bursts into Mark’s house…
