Angel of the Ambulance

In front of us is another story from the life of talented surgeon Yan Koldunov. He is young, full of strength, and works for three. Yan is ready for family life—and for a loyal, reliable, devoted husband like the one he will clearly still have to look for. Koldunov tries to win back the favor of the beautiful Sonya Bakhtiyarova, whom he once preferred over a sweet simple girl, and who eventually left him. Sonya forgives Yan but insists that she isn’t made for love—just like Yan’s neighbor in the apartment, Korshunov, plans to marry for convenience: the daughter of high-ranking doctors. Maybe Koldunov should do something similar too? After all, a sensible union of two people who respect each other—and who are doctors—promises stability and durability. It seems Sonya agrees. But what will the parents say?
