Anarchism is a social and political ideology that, despite a history full of failures, constantly reemerges in a new guise or in a new country—thereby adding yet another chapter to its chronology, or spreading even more widely. I set myself one task: simply to try, in a few words, to bring the reader up to speed on the ideas of the anarchists and point to additional literature. In this broad topic, the emphasis is arranged by me arbitrarily.
