Allegro: The Mystery of the Missing Score

A dynamic historical detective story, where the main character becomes Mozart. In 1789, Wolfgang Amadeus arrives in Leipzig and comes to Johann Sebastian Bach’s grave, hoping to find a sign and solve the mystery that had haunted him since childhood: was Bach killed by a famous ophthalmologist? And later—did the same fate befall Händel at the hands of that same doctor?

The investigation carries the reader from London drawing rooms to the streets of Paris, recreating a tense era where geniuses and swindlers, charlatans and imposing nobility coexist. Against the backdrop of the search for truth, Mozart’s own path unfolds as well—his growth in mastery and fame, a chain of trials, losses, and victories.
