Alisa, a 15-year-old schoolgirl, faces difficulties in school and in family life, as well as alienation from her classmates. One day she meets a White Rabbit in the park, and it leads her into a mysterious Magic Land. In this place, everything around her reminds her of her everyday life—but is distorted, like in a warped mirror. In this world, Alice feels like an outsider and must overcome many trials, including mountains, a desert, a sea of tears, and a mysterious forest, to return home. Only once she grows up will she be able to prevent a catastrophe in Wonderland. This film is a modern adaptation based on poems by Vladimir Vysotsky, inspired by Lewis Carroll’s fairy tale.
