Description
Police officer Miki Fitzpatrick has been patrolling Philadelphia’s 24th district for years. She knows nearly all the local prostitutes by name. She knows the color, taste, and smell of total hopelessness. She’s aware of what people are willing to do for a dose. She found bodies on the streets—people who died from drugs. With every year, their numbers only increased.

And every time she arrived on a call and saw a cold, stiff corpse, she prayed: “Not Casey, please—just not Casey!” Not her sister, who had already slid down the incline a long time ago and was selling herself for a dose. Especially now, when a serial killer has come into the streets of the district, hunting people like Casey. Miki is at odds with her sister, but she has been used to taking care of her since childhood. And she understands that Casey needs to be saved right now, otherwise it will be too late.

They are sisters. They’re like two banks of a river—very different, and they’ll never meet. But one can’t live without the other…

Kensington, Philadelphia.

The first place people come for drugs and sex.

The last place you would want to search for your sister—trying to save her from a serial killer…
