Aku-Aku: The Secret of Easter Island

For centuries, stone statues on Easter Island fascinated everyone who saw them. But how did those stone giants end up on an almost uninhabited island? Why do they stand turned away from the all-powerful ocean and look deep into the island’s volcanoes? The fearless Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl (1914–2002) sets out to solve these mysteries.
