Social science fiction. Future Moscow. The eastern way of life of the new model is whimsically combined with the European ceremonial etiquette of the 19th century. The elite happily plays at being masters of the old days— balls, invitations, servants… The handsome “non-Muscovite” Volodya is seized during a raid and sent to study at a servants’ school. A demo role-play with a presentation of Vladimir’s home servant skills pleases Madame Luisa—and he is taken into service. What will he choose: to serve properly and thus build a career, becoming first in the line of Muscovites—or to break free from being a servant and run to the girl he loves, who’s waiting for him?
