The beloved epistolary genre of Marot, tracing back to the era of classicism, in which "Open Letter…" and "The Art of Conversation" were created, allows the writer to adopt a confidential tone when discussing the most difficult questions of life with the reader. At the same time, the journalistic nature of the works and their openness give the author an opportunity to address the younger generation from a kind of spiritual tribune, leaving a “spiritual bequest” and sharing accumulated knowledge and life wisdom.
