Professor Stephen Worthington’s life is measured and predictable. On Tuesdays and Fridays he teaches at the university; on weekends he has dinner with his parents. Twice a week, Stephen goes to the gym together with his stepbrother Matt, well known in town as a heartbreaker. Every evening he returns home. Always at the same time. Always alone.
Only one “thorn” spoils his calm, orderly existence: Miss Julia Wild. There couldn’t be a more whimsical and audacious student. The girl irritates him, provokes him, and simply drives him crazy—especially her appearance! Would any respectable student dress like that? Stephen can’t wait for the end of the semester, just so he won’t have to see that awful person anymore.
But when he ends up not in a university classroom with her, but in her apartment, his opinion changes. The situation gets out of control, and the student teaches the teacher a lesson in love—sharing generously with him the experience he so badly lacked. Stephen Worthington was sure he lived by rules—but the unexpected adventure with Julia turns everything upside down. Perhaps he’s sick? Or maybe a little shake-up is exactly what will help the fussy professor see life in new colors?
