Description
What accusations haven’t been made against D. Orwell—even spying. His book “1984” is a fairly successful attempt to look into the future. A person turns into a zombie, and this is done intentionally and methodically. He is made to believe what to love, what to believe in, what to buy, and what to do. And it doesn’t matter whether an individual needs it or not, and it doesn’t matter what desires he might have himself… The important thing is that the person submits. Traces of this anti-utopia can be seen in modern society as well. One advertisement in particular deserves attention from this point of view.

The atmosphere in the novel is gloomy enough, but impressive. There is also a love line in it, ending in mutual betrayal. The installed system fully and completely controls the person. It causes horror and panic. Probably this is connected to D. Orwell’s personal experience. The impressions he gained during harsh historical moments are reflected in this book. The public perceived the author’s narration as an unambiguous critique of communism, but D. Orwell has repeatedly emphasized that all of this could happen to any state if a totalitarian regime reigns within it.
