Old railway tracks in the Zone of Exclusion are free of anomalies and suitable for travel. A scientific armored train goes into the Zone for a short sightseeing tour for officials and journalists. After an attack by bandits, the armored train with officials and scientists is forced to gradually move deeper into the Zone. And only the one who, facing mortal danger, won’t look for easy detours can save it.
