The present Law governs relations that arise between consumers and manufacturers, performers, importers, and sellers when selling goods (performing work, providing services). It establishes consumers’ rights to purchase goods (work, services) of proper quality that are safe for the life, health, and property of consumers and for the environment; obtaining information about goods (work, services) and about their manufacturers (performers, sellers); education, and state and public protection of their interests; and it also defines the mechanism for implementing these rights.
