Four old friends—Nastya, Natalia, Lena, and Marina—are used to sharing everything with one another: joys and defeats. On New Year’s Eve, they gather again, just like once, to raise their glasses to happiness and ask fate to grant their most cherished wishes. Each dreams of her own: love, confidence in tomorrow, recognition, and family harmony. It feels like only good changes are ahead—and that their friendship, which has survived years, won’t let them down.
But the new year brings tests no one could have predicted. One of them won’t live to see spring, another will be left without a husband, and the remaining two will be pulled into a rapid whirlwind of events, where their own secrets collide with other people’s dangerous ones.
How this story turns out—salvation or disaster—will become clear only at the moment when retreat will be impossible.
