Still Alice

Alice, a Harvard professor of linguistics, has a brilliant career and is respected by colleagues and students. She is also a loving wife and mother of three grown children. She’s in great physical shape, full of plans and hope. And at the peak of her busy life, Alice begins to notice that she has memory lapses and difficulties orienting herself in space. A neurologist gives a frightening diagnosis… Unwilling to accept her illness, Alice wages a fierce battle for her memory, thoughts, and memories—for those she loves and her loved ones… In the film of the same name based on the novel “Still Alice,” the main roles were played by Alec Baldwin and Julianne Moore, who received many awards for her work in this film, including an Oscar.
