Two of the best Guards of grim Haven are tasked with uncovering a spy from the enemy kingdom of Outremer. And it is truly hard work, because instead of battling hordes of bandits and monsters, they must play the roles of two aristocrats who have arrived from afar to divide an inheritance. But the unlawful appropriation of a noble title — and thus the exposure of their masquerade — is punishable by death. And of course, what noble family would be complete without an ancient curse.
