Along Wolf Trails

Near each of their feet stood a bundle-bag, where they had packed everything needed for the long journey the previous evening. There was also a canteen of water from the Living Lake—who knows what dangers might be waiting for them.

Tiana had heard a lot about the wolf paths, but she had never walked them herself. They existed so that no one could track a wolf. No one—meaning people. People didn’t walk the wolf paths, and hunts for werewolves were usually carried out on neutral territory…’
