Wanted: Military Academy Applicant

"It flies well not only on brooms, but also on rum barrels. Especially when it’s burning and ready to explode" (from the instructions of an experienced smuggler to his student).

"If a black witch has got you and you want to burn her with a pulsar, then take ten deep breaths and calm down. Your hands won’t shake, and aiming will be easier" (from a manual for inquisitors).

But if darkness and light do meet anyway—and not just meet, but fate tightly binds them together—then even the director of a magical military academy’s iron self-control can change things.
