Immerse yourself in a dark, mystery-filled reality where ancient gods, yokai, and samurai intertwine with human desires, fears, and secrets. This adventure, in which it is the past that holds the answer—how to protect the present—will leave no one indifferent who loves Japanese mythology and tense stories.
A world that resembles 17th-century Japan. The God-Protected Island has been drowning in blood for many years: after the death of the last shogun, the provinces are torn apart by ruthless internecine wars, the deities do not respond to prayers, and yokai, having forgotten the old agreements, abduct people and play with them like toys.
Something similar seems to have happened to Ayashike: he can remember nothing except the last ten years of his life. In any case, it hardly bothers him—any uncomfortable thoughts are easily drowned in sake, hot baths, and the entertainments of teahouses.
But one day, a gang of noble robbers kidnaps
Ayashike and demands that he recover his memory of the past—because it is there that the key to the world on the Island is hidden. Now, saving his own skin, Ayashike is forced to face ruthless samurai, terrifying ghosts, and the person he once was.
