An abnormal phenomenon called the Breach—either a corridor through time or a tunnel through space—is the most protected secret of the U.S. government. But inside that secret lies another one—known only to a few. And it is far more dangerous…

During the U.S. president’s address to the nation, a successful missile strike was carried out on the White House. A note found at a mothballed military facility indicated that the scientific group “Tangent,” which guards and studies the Breach, was behind the attack. In response, the new president ordered a massive bombardment of “Tangent’s” territory. Special agent Travis Chase managed to evacuate a significant part of the “Breach watchers” in time.

Now he must find out who truly was behind the attack on the White House—and who left the note, pointing to a terrible secret guarded by only a handful of insiders since the Breach first appeared…
