Yuletide Cyberpunk, or Christmas Night - 117.DIR

On the night before Christmas, computers in the city of Petropolsk were attacked by a virus called “Christmas Night” or “RN 117.DIR.” Nothing was known about the virus’s author. But persistent rumors claimed it was an engineer Gerasimov, whose case had for the first time in the practice of the Petropolsk city court led to the application of a law for the protection of animals. Breaking into the city hall computers led to complete chaos and confusion, as a result of which the mayor was eaten.
