The Old Man and the Sea

Santiago is an old Cuban fisherman. Again and again, he goes out to sea on his boat with a boy, Manolin—his helper. But for a full forty days, the old man can’t catch a single fish. His helper is taken away because the boy’s parents tell him to fish with other people, but not to take part in Santiago’s friendship and attention. However, comes the day when Santiago, before going out to sea, tells Manolin that this time he believes in luck...
