Solka the Dark Fairy

Natalya Shcherba’s fantastical novel “Solka – the Dark Fairy” by plot and style strongly resembles descriptions of the adventures of the legendary Harry Potter. The main heroine of the novel, the young fairy Soliya, is still only studying at school. Her upbringing is handled by her aunt-fairies: Mora, the fairy of death; Celest, the fairy of Intrigue; Mendeir, the fairy of Quarrel; and Fian, the fairy of Power.

They live in a fairy-tale garden, which is vigilantly guarded against the intrusion of other inhabitants of the fairy country. And around their beautiful garden, a mysterious dark, ancient forest rises like an unbroken wall.
