New Year’s Eve. Everyone decorates the Christmas trees, watches kind movies, and prepares gifts. Everyone—except Zhenya, who had to sit with her aunt’s dog in her aunt’s cottage while she was on vacation.

It all could have been boring: talkative neighbors from the village, no snow, and dog walks. But someone broke into her house one night, and for some reason her aunt came back from vacation early. Of course, Zhenya tried to get home to her usual life—but it didn’t work, because a murder happened.

Now she has to figure out what really happened, learn a lot about her aunt and the secrets of her neighbors, understand why a suspicious man from the house across the way is trying to help her, and never forget to walk the dog twice a day.
