The story of the ship “Child of the Tides” is coming to an end.
It’s a tale of the struggle for freedom and revenge, written by the winner of the British Fantasy Award R. J. Barker.
The main character, Joron Twainer, no longer dreams of freedom—his heart is filled with a thirst for revenge. He commands the black fleet on the ship “Child of the Tides” and is ready to seize any chance to harm his enemies on the Seven Isles. He fears there isn’t much time left. The fleet is shrinking, the rot of kaeshan is corroding his body, and he tries to escape the prophecy that predicts his fate: the destruction of the world.
But here the Sea Dragons return—and this in itself is a miracle. And if one miracle has already happened, why not another?
