Music was roaring all around. The one they don’t turn on. It wove a complex pattern in the grass, and within each knot there was a living, moving element keeping time. They were different—old and young, tall or tiny. Some glowed, sent plumes of white sparks into the sky, or grew bright wings. Here, everyone did only what they wanted, but all of them wanted one thing—to dance on this soft green grass. Music led the dance of former people, and it did what it wanted too, because no one turned it on… But you couldn’t turn it off either. The book is from the series “Hi, Yaga!”—though it can be read separately from the main trilogy. In this “subseries” there will be two parts in total.
