The story about the brave girl Matya, about the terrifying Tseblyonion and the kingdom of the Invisible Ones—about the fact that one should never despair and should not lose faith in courage and honor—became an event in children’s literature.
Matya lives in the kingdom of the Invisible Ones: the entire palace wears invisible caps and is perfumed with special spirits, so it’s possible to tell the king apart from, say, the minister of war. One day, the king orders the capture of the girl’s elder brothers, who as inventors must build a monstrous machine for enslaving a neighboring kingdom. Of course, she will try to save them.
