The CIA manages to identify hidden positions of Soviet ballistic missile launchers. The KGB leadership is certain that someone from our technical personnel is helping the Americans. A group led by Major Mikhail Koltsov is tasked with finding the traitor. However, the operation’s beginning nearly ends in failure. Two exposed agents directly connected to the case are killed by the assassin. Feeling surveillance, one of the high-ranking military officials takes his own life. Koltsov himself barely escapes death during a clash with the suspect… Finally, the operatives manage to detain a valuable witness.
