The Ruby of the Sand Princes

They are the Sand Princes—two demons, irreconcilable enemies, who rule this world. I am a treasure, a trophy, a sign of power, a random captive who ended up here by the whim of fate. In the arms of the first, I die; in the arms of the second, I am reborn. The princes try to claim me for themselves, constantly stealing me from each other, as if I were some thing! But how can I tear my heart in two? I won’t! Enough! It’s time to end this ridiculous feud!
