Boileau–Narcejac (French: Boileau-Narcejac) is a creative tandem—two French writers, Pierre Boileau (1906–1989) and Thomas Narcejac (1908–1998).
The year the “Boileau–Narcejac” duo began their joint creative work is 1951—the year the novel “The Phantom Hunt” was published.
Altogether, over nearly forty years they produced more than fifty detective novels and novellas. In addition to detective stories, they wrote 37 “ordinary” novels, 5 novels of the Arsène Lupin series continuing the adventures of the “gentleman-thief,” the hero of Maurice Leblanc’s works, 6 novels “for youth,” and two collections of short stories.
This selection of three short stories will allow you to appreciate the writers as excellent masters of the small genre.
