Five Spoons of Elixir

Arkady and Boris Strugatsky are recognized masters of science fiction and social fiction. Their works have been translated into 42 languages and published in 33 countries. In Russian, four complete collections of their works were released. The novella “Five Spoons of Elixir,” written based on the novel “Frail Fate,” was fully published in the collection “Modern Science Fiction” in 1989. In 1990, a TV film titled “B. Temptation” was made based on this screenplay. The main character, writer Felix Sorokin, finds himself in a situation that inspires him to create a new story.
