Earth, 2077. A year has passed since all people disappeared from the planet—whether by God’s will or nature’s, intelligent birds were somehow granted that ability. But the robots remain: millions of cruel, soulless machines. Their leader, the Artificial Intelligence, has raised a machine rebellion. Armed with ray guns and blasters, birds fight robots and drones across the whole world. Feathered scouts against iron spies. Special operations, clashes, adventures, and aerial battles. On the planet’s orbit there are still people—only a few astronauts—and they refuse to stay aside from the fighting. Victory for the birds seems close, but a squad of robots, in a daring pirate raid, breaks into space to seize a human starship. Defeating the AI is hard. Destroying it is impossible. And it can erase all living things from the face of the planet—and it is extremely dangerous. Nevertheless, the Artificial Intelligence neural networks took part in developing the illustrations for this book.
