The Cursed Mountain

A crying wife of the market director came to the homicide division in Yakutsk and told them that her husband Serafim, late in the evening, had been at home resting with a friend—when someone knocked on the door. The woman didn’t see who came in, but a minute later the men dressed and left the apartment.

It’s already the third day with no word from her husband. Two people disappeared without a trace. A week later, the mutilated bodies of Serafim and his friend were found at the foot of Mount Chochur-Muran. And no leads!

Another “high-profile unsolved case” was brewing. Several months later, another corpse was discovered at the foot of that mysterious mountain. And in winter, they found a man there with his skull crushed.
