The hero of the trilogy is a very young demon, Azzie Elbub. He is preparing to take part in a contest between the forces of good and evil, held once every thousand years for the right to rule during the next millennium.
Young Azzie decided to try his luck by reenacting the old fairy tale of Prince Charming and Sleeping Beauty in his own way. Imagining himself a new Frankenstein, Azzie pieced together Prince Charming and Sleeping Beauty, ordered up an enchanted castle, a glass mountain, and an Enchanted Forest from the warehouse, and decided to stage the tale. But Azzie’s carelessness and spontaneity led to the Prince refusing to fall in love. Azzie was forced to grant the whims of the capricious girl himself, and only the help of higher powers saved his plan.
