Far, far away, on the shore of the ocean sea, beyond thrice-nine lands and beyond a high mountain, in a small town at the edge of a pine forest, there lived two brothers — artists — the Kind one and the Evil one. One day the Kind Artist saved a hedgehog in the winter forest — Black Nose — warmed him up and… became a wizard. The hedgehog's quills that stuck out of his shirt turned into magic pencils. Whatever you drew with them came to life at once. And the first thing the Kind Artist drew was a little daughter — Yozhenka — and many other good and amusing little figures. But the Evil Artist took all the pencils from the Kind one and plotted to do away with his brother, Yozhenka, and her friends…
