A Forced Celebration

Twenty days in a parallel reality and planning a holiday I don’t like—definitely not how I imagined my New Year’s vacation! Instead of working on my marriage, I have to, along with Fawn—my lady-in-waiting—organize a New Year celebration for an entire province. We’re a bit tipsy with the fun-loving man and—unfortunately—ice-cold yet irresistible Lord. If I can’t pull it off in twenty days, I’ll be stuck here forever. And if I’m lucky, not as a pigkeeper. So what do the locals do on New Year? Where can I get a hoverboard, if I can’t even find toilet paper? And how not to forget about my husband? By the way, remind me why I’m still married?
