In his new incarnation, the God of Death is an ordinary spellcaster, Fa Hăng. Over many lives in a row, he died as a child—which made him truly sincere, kind, and someone who values life. Fa Hăng travels with his friends-spellcasters Lin Hu and Xiao Tong. The three of them keep improving and learning how to resist enemies who want either the God of Death’s death—or, on the contrary, his resurrection.
The dangers don’t decrease, and the harder it becomes for Fa Hăng to hold back his dark divine aspect. Fa Hăng has to figure out how to keep his humanity and survive the trials that only immortals can endure…
