Several years ago, the English archaeologist and millionaire Reginald Kensington disappeared without a trace in the mysterious city of Ubar, lost in the Arabian Desert. After a strange explosion in the gallery founded by Kensington, where treasures from Ubar were kept, scientists discover inside a stone statue damaged by the blast a strange metal part—an exact copy of a human heart. The archaeologist’s daughter equips a scientific expedition with the aim of penetrating the mysteries guarded by the desert.
