The Order is fighting with “Bastion”—to the death—a powerful criminal group that seized power in the country. Pavel Tumanov, having left the police service, became one of the analysts of “Bastion”—meaning he is an enemy of the Order, which has started a brutal and merciless war against all honest people. The Order’s gangsters destroy Tumanov’s friend—the honest operative—and now they have opened a hunt for Tumanov himself. His life hangs by a thread. “Bastion” helps the analyst hide in a remote taiga, in a settlement of former prisoners. But suddenly the settlement is attacked by squads of “Order” special forces…
