In the dense forests of Kentucky, dark secrets are hidden. When four brave people decide to climb an “unknown” rock, they don’t suspect that its absence on the maps has nothing to do with the fact that it was never discovered, and everything to do with the fact that discovering it was unwanted.
Dylan, a well-known mountaineer and a social-media star, is inspired by a find made by her friend, the geologist Clay, who discovers an unexplored rock deep in the Kentucky woods. Determined to be the first to conquer it and streaming it live, she goes there with her boyfriend Luke, Clay, and his assistant, Sylvia. Their goal is internet fame—but all four vanish under mysterious circumstances. Seven months later, near the highway, three strangely mutilated bodies are found. One of the dead is a carefully exposed skeleton; the second has all internal organs missing; the third lacks eyes, ears, tongue, and fingers. What happened to the climbers? Who committed this terrible crime? Perhaps they met a fate connected with something far more sinister than human cruelty?
