The Fire Court

The Great Fire of London in 1666 led to the destruction of the city, and eight months later the rebuilding began. Owners and tenants of the burned houses fight for compensation before the Fire Court. Meanwhile, clerk James Marwood learns about a mysterious death of a woman connected to the Fire Court, and his father dies in an accident. James turns to Kate Lovett for help to uncover the truth and stop the criminal whose actions threaten London’s future.
