“Uncle Mark, and are you married?”
Mark was slightly stunned and gave her an astonished look:
“No… not yet.”
“And do you have children?”
He shook his head, clearly not expecting such pressure:
“No, no children either.”
Alice frowned thoughtfully and continued questioning:
“Do you like treating animals?”
Alice wasn’t going to back down, looking at him closely with her huge eyes.
Mark already looked amused and warmly smiled in reply:
“Yes, very much. It’s my favorite thing.”
Alice listened carefully, took a deep breath, and, satisfied, announced:
“Well then, you’re perfect! For the role of our father!”
Who would have thought my daughter would decide to arrange my personal life? But she didn’t just decide—she also started implementing her plans with enormous enthusiasm… Only she didn’t even ask us—the “candidate” for father—about anything!
In other words, she decided everything herself? And why is that “candidate” looking at me so intently all of a sudden?
