“Lex Raut” is a trilogy with an atypical main character, named after whom it’s titled. He is by no means positive—but he isn’t purely negative either. Lex Raut doesn’t advertise his activities, but he always demands payment upfront, and his services aren’t cheap. Along with money, he’s also fond of women. So who is he? An unscrupulous black mage, ready together with his assistant—a werewolf—to take on the most difficult job. And he doesn’t care if the client’s life is at risk. But fate worked out so that it was precisely Lex Raut who saved this world from major trouble.
The truth is, no one is in a hurry to write him into heroes—and quite the opposite. The world is unfair, and the black mage has to deal with a pile of new problems, including troubles in his personal life. Details are in the audiobook that concludes the trilogy.
