At the Crossroads of Fate

Andrea comes home to her native Leavenworth for just a few days—for her younger sister’s wedding—leaving behind in New York a job she pursued for years and memories she had tried to wall off. She is twenty-seven; she’s used to living at full speed and hiding the pain of the past behind endless tasks. But returning to the town where, after her parents’ divorce, their family once started over again shatters her familiar armor.

On the way to Leavenworth, fate brings her together with Alex—the man who, ten years ago, was her support and her first love. Back then, his kindness and charm seemed like salvation; now, one meeting alone brings up everything Andrea would rather not remember: decisions made without her consent, and the price they cost. Being close to each other again, they realize that the past let neither of them go, and on this new turn of life they will have to choose—take a risk and trust their feelings, or finally go their separate ways without looking back.
